When does billing actually start?
When the platform leaves early access — no date promised yet. Waitlist members hear first, and nobody is ever charged without explicitly subscribing. Until then everything within the free limits costs nothing.
Are viewers really free, forever?
Yes — this is the one pricing commitment we treat as permanent. Charging per viewer punishes the exact behavior a team tool exists for: being shared. People who use tools will never be a line item.
What happens to my tools if I never pay?
The free tier is a real tier, not a trial: 3 tools, full sharing, isolation, cron, versions — indefinitely. If you're over free limits when billing opens, your tools keep their data and you'll choose what to keep active.
Why flat prices instead of usage-based?
Small tools sleep most of their lives — metering pennies of compute would cost more attention than money. Flat prices mean the bill is boring, which is the whole spirit of the platform.
